Code WD 282 Lovely French circa 1900 oak walnut veneered double bed in the Rococo style, with some great hand carved details. One side rail has been plated at each end in the past due to a split (see pics) but has been used by the previous owner for many years with no trouble .. If you require the base for this bed, I can design it in such a way that weight is taken from the side rails .. There are also a couple of small pieces of veneer missing from the same rail (see photo) .. I have listed the bed at a reduced price of £395 because of this .. Apart from that , it's a super bed in excellent condition with only the expected age related wear, and minor characterful bumps and bruises..
