Coast to Country Antique Beds is a friendly family run internet based business selling beautiful antique English and French bedsteads. Most of the beds originate from London and the Midlands. Many have also found their way over from France and they date from the middle of the Victorian period through to the 1920's.

Our aim is to list the the Bedsteads online using detailed photographs and descriptions. If you would prefer to view the item we are happy for you to view by appointment. Where are we?

Your bedstead will be shot blasted back to bare metal, primed and repainted in your choice of colour. The brass will be cleaned back by machine and then hand polished.

The bed can be painted in almost any colour. I would be happy to post a Farrow and Ball and Little Greene Paint Company colour chart to you after cleared deposit. These two charts have a really good range of colours.

If we feel a bed is good enough to leave in it's original paint and unpolished brass we tend to leave alone and just give it a careful clean before adding it to the website.

Most of the beds are photographed in thier unrestored as found condition with a fully restored price, but a unrestored price can be supplied on request. The unrestored price is for the bed as it stands complete with dust and cobwebs. I will repair any bent rails and replace any missing brass part, this is included in the unrestored price.
